Shipping update
Well we didn't make Halloween for everyone; we still have about 150 packages left... but we are working through them carefully!
Apologies to those who still haven't received your packages. I wish I could have wrapped all 1,000 of them all at once but alas, we have to do them one at a time, and we only have four hands between us.
By the way! There are 49 people who still haven't filled out their surveys, so... can't mail those of course if we don't know where they're going.

Happy Halloween!
Tis the season for tarot cards! am really enjoying all the fun and joy of this Fall season (despite the hard work) and I hope you are too! Again, thank you all for supporting this project.
My intro to the cards
I have posted 5 videos to YouTube:
Part 1 (above) goes through the Major Arcana one by one, followed with an introduction to the Porch Cards
Parts 2-5 are each standalone walkthroughs of the 4 suits: JAZZ, BLUES, AXES and ROOTS.
If you plan on making your own unboxing videos, or just want to hear the background stories behind each of the cards, I hope you enjoy these videos.
Thanks all! Be sure to tag me in your posts so I can see your reactions.

An update from the shipper

Hello Backers,
I have an update! This morning I received the first concrete piece of information in weeks and weeks. I’m so happy to share it. Read on…
Let me say this first.
Thank you and warmest blessings to all my patient Backers who have sent kind words of encouragement, as I have worried all summer about the shipment of my beloved cards. As so many of you know, perhaps from previous Kickstarter campaigns you may have supported, things take time. Indie producers like me often get minimized or de-prioritized in the machinations of international shipping. So thank you to those who have been patient and kind.
Where we have been.
You may remember from the previous update, that not only did the ship launch later than I was told it would, but then once it arrived in the USA it would not be headed right to me. The cards have been (safe and dry, but) held in a warehouse, awaiting a truck to bid on the job of delivery. The space in-between. The waiting place.
The update from this morning.
OK SO… I still don’t have a delivery date. But I DO now have a tracking number and a truck line, which means that movement is happening. Today is Saturday where I am, and in this morning’s text message, I was told that “next week” I will be receiving a call to schedule the delivery.
My conclusion from all this is, these cards now have a delivery plan being made, and it’s imminent.
This coming week, once I hear from them, I’ll pop in here again and give estimates for fulfillment.
Thank you 😊 Talk to you in a few days.

Shipping update for the Rhythm & Soul Tarot

Hi everyone,
Thank you again for your patience as we await the delivery of the Rhythm & Soul Tarot decks, and the accessories.
This morning, which is precisely a month later than I expected (or frankly, was told) to receive this update... I am thrilled to say that the 90% remainder of the decks have arrived in the USA this morning, and are now safe and sound in a New York area warehouse.
But we're not out of the woods yet. (Keep reading.)
The next step in this process is for a freight truck— that's right, an 18-wheeler— to bid on the job to deliver the decks to La Panthère Studio, once they clear customs.
Once they are assigned a delivery truck, I will get a call. I expect to get that call very soon... hopefully before the weekend... but frankly who's to tell? //fingers crossed so hard//
Maybe I should have included trucker songs in my playlist?
I hesitate to give any estimated dates at this stage because I feel so let down after the delivery companies didn't make the mid-August date that my heart was set on. Remember: every time that I learn something, I tell you right away, so if you haven't heard from me in a while between updates, it's because we (over here) are also waiting for updates as they come along. The ball is in their court for now.
Everyone send positive vibes so we can get a fast and reliable trucker to bid on our card shipment! They are tantalizingly close now!
Sorry so late! We have a delay.

Hi everyone, thanks for your patience.
A few of you have checked in on status. Here’s the latest:
1. I don’t have the second shipment of decks yet. I was told mid-August, and I was even given a date of 18 August as my estimated delivery date, which I took at face value as being a real estimate. When I checked in, however (because no one rang my doorbell on the 18th) — I was told by the manufacturer that ACTUALLY they may not be here until September, or even early October. Ugh!
2. Larger shipments go on larger boats, and apparently larger boats have less specific delivery dates. This is the biggest shipment I have ever ordered as an indie, and I didn’t know the delivery estimates were so loosey-goosey for big boats. I am also disappointed, and I did get hot-headed there for a bit on some shipping people — but I am also very aware how little control I have in the realities of international shipping. And so we wait.
They’re coming! Just not as quickly as we had hoped. When I have a firm delivery date given to me: I’ll be here to let you all know.
